So I’m still pinching myself. Today I got to watch Darren Criss film an episode of Strombo (George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight…a Canadian talkshow). Darren and Strombo are two of my favourite people and I am so lucky to have been there. (It certainly made up for not getting Imogene premiere tickets).

I didn’t know that Darren was going to be a guest until I got my confirmation email yesterday. I booked the tickets to Strombo since it was TIFF and I knew that Darren was here, so I hoped he might be a guest, but with my bad luck, I certainly didn’t think I’d get to be there. IN THE FRONT ROW! Seriously, they’ve redone the Strombo set and the audience is even closer to the guests. I was five or six feet away from Darren. I sat directly across from Darren for the 30-40 min interview (I have no idea how long it was exactly) and I had a great time. He looked adorable in his olive green cardigan and grey pants, and he was very sweet and articulate and interesting in his interview.

The interviews that Strombo films during TIFF are aired at much later dates, so keep an eye on Strombo’s listings to see Darren’s episode when it airs.
